As a reminder, CAI Central Ohio Chapter’s Annual meeting is Thursday, January 25th at the Fawcett Center. At the Annual Meeting, we will be voting to fill 3 positions for the Chapter’s Board of Directors. The Chapter’s Nominating Committee has placed 4 candidates on the ballot to fill these positions. Additionally, the Chapter’s Board of Directors has adopted a new sponsorship framework for 2018. Rather than seeking sponsors on an event-by-event basis, the Board has created sponsorship levels that allow Business Partners to make a one-time payment for certain sponsorship opportunities for our Chapter’s 2018 events. In addition to creating a new sponsorship framework, the Board also created an Education Endowment Fund for the Chapter. All contributions to the Fund will go toward improving the quality of the educational opportunities for our members, including bringing nationally-recognized speakers to discuss topics relevant to our industry. All Chapter members are able to contribute to the Fund and all those that contribute $300 or more to the Fund, including management companies and law firms, will receive recognition on a specific page of the Chapter’s website recognizing all contributors to the Fund. This new opportunity required the Board to amend the Chapter’s long-standing marketing and sponsorship policy.
